Ajax 25353/34898 vhfBridge Wireless Module for Third-Party VHF Transmitters
The Ajax 25353 vhfBridge is a professional integration module designed to connect an Ajax security system to a third-party VHF transmitter.
The module provides 8 transistor outputs, allowing alarm and system events from the Ajax system to be passed to a compatible third-party VHF transmitter. This can provide an additional communication route to a Central Monitoring Station (CMS) where conventional internet communication may be unavailable or unreliable.
The vhfBridge communicates with the Ajax hub using the secure Jeweller two-way radio communication protocol, with a communication range of up to 1,800 metres in open space.
Each of the eight outputs can be configured in the Ajax app. The module supports positive- and negative-potential outputs, while output operation can be configured for pulse or bistable operation depending on the output type.
The vhfBridge can also provide 12 V DC power to a connected VHF transmitter, with a maximum output current of 2 A. A 12 V backup battery can be connected to maintain operation during a mains power failure.
