Description
Ajax 46716 MotionProtect Plus Fibra Wired PIR & Microwave Motion Detector
The Ajax 46716 MotionProtect Plus Fibra is a professional wired motion detector designed for indoor security systems using Ajax Fibra technology.
The detector combines a PIR motion sensor with a K-band microwave sensor. When the PIR sensor detects movement, the microwave sensor provides additional verification, helping the detector distinguish genuine movement from thermal interference caused by factors such as air conditioning, fireplaces, heated curtains and draughts.
MotionProtect Plus Fibra can detect movement at distances of up to 12 metres when installed at the recommended height. The detector also provides pet immunity for animals up to 20 kg and 50 cm high, helping reduce unnecessary alarms in suitable environments.
The detector communicates with the Ajax hub through the Fibra wired communication protocol. Fibra wiring can provide communication over distances of up to 2,000 metres, depending on the wiring topology, cable type and system configuration.
MotionProtect Plus Fibra is powered through the Fibra line, so no batteries are required. Configuration, monitoring and device status can be managed through the Ajax system and app.
The detector is designed for indoor installation and is supplied with an Ajax SmartBracket mounting panel and installation accessories.
