The Hikvision DS-3E1528P-EI is a 24-port Gigabit Smart Managed PoE+ switch designed for professional IP CCTV and network installations. It provides 24 Gigabit PoE ports for connecting and powering compatible IP cameras over a single network cable, with a generous 370W total PoE power budget.

The switch also features 2 Gigabit RJ45 uplink ports and 2 Gigabit fibre optic ports, providing flexible connectivity for larger surveillance networks. It supports IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at PoE standards, with up to 30W available per PoE port.

For longer cable runs, Ports 1 to 24 support Hikvision's long-range PoE mode, allowing transmission distances of up to 300 metres when compatible cameras and suitable cabling are used. The switch also includes PoE watchdog functionality, which can automatically detect and restart unresponsive cameras.

With smart network management features including VLAN, port isolation, link aggregation, QoS, STP/RSTP loop prevention, DHCP snooping and cable detection, the DS-3E1528P-EI is suited to medium and larger IP surveillance systems.
